Saints fan Neil Tucker hosted a coffee morning at the Red V cafe at Langtree Park on Wednesday 23rd September in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support and the Steve Prescott Foundation.
Neil hailed the day as a great success and said.
"In total we raised £400 through the morning. The team at Saints from waiting on staff to executives have been absolutely fantastic. My friend Rowena Thomas baked over 40 Saints cupcakes for the big day.
We also had Tony Stewart ex Saints legend turn up for a meet and greet with fans of all ages. Local councillor Marie Rimmer took time from her busy schedule to also attend in memory of my auntie Patricia Martinez Williams.
All in all it was a fantastic day. I couldn't have done this without my loving friends and family and the people of St Helens who came and donated prizes and cakes. Broad Oak Manor for making cakes also plus bringing some lovely residents for cakes and fun. But most of all I would like to say a big big thank you to Karen Caddock, match day sales co-ordinator for sorting beverages and the room. And last but not least Steve Prescott Foundation who let me do an event in memory of such a prolific and amazing person who's life touched millions and was a friend, my friend Steve Prescott MBE."
A massive thank you to Neil for organising the event and raising funds and awareness of the SPF and MacMillan Cancer Support
