It is with a very heavy heart that the brave and inspirational Claire Place passed away on Sunday morning, 22nd July 2018.

Claire was the first person to undergo the multivisceral transplant after Stephen and without her bravery, following in Stephen’s footsteps, the operation may not have become a viable option for other pseudomyxoma patients.

Claire went on to share many happy memories with her loving family for more than a further 3 years.
