We are pleased to announce that Linzi Prescott & SPF Ambassador Shaun Briscoe will join 29 other athletes in running the Jane Tomlinsons Asda Foundation Hull 10k Run on the 14th June.
Team Prescott has been put together by one of the people behind the naming of The Steve Prescott Man of Steel Award Graham Middleton who has continued to support the SPF Charity along with Hull KR fan Andy O'Donnell who came up with the idea at last years 10k Run.
Linzi Prescott who is taking part in the Morrisons Great Manchester Run this Sunday (10th May) as part of Paula Radcliffes - Radcliffes Great Runners said "It is a huge honour to take part in one of Jane Tomlinsons events, Stephen drew strength and inspiration from Jane's achievements! It is fantastic for the charity to be supported by so many people wanting to run in Team Prescott and continue to support Steve's legacy"
SPF Ambassador Shaun Briscoe said "As a former Hull FC & Hull KR player it is great to come back to take part in this great event and run for the SPF!
I was treated so well by east Yorkshire public and look forward to hearing their encouragement around the course! Steve would also have relished the opportunity to run with so many supporters who share his passion to help those less fortunate"
All runners who raise more than £120 for the charity will receive a Steve Prescott Running Vest, T Shirt and Luminous Beany Hat!
