Reason to "Race across Europe":

After recently retiring from professional rugby league the opportunity to be part of a team again all sharing a common goal is something that really excites me. I've watched on for a number of years and like everyone found Steve's courage and determination after his diagnosis truly remarkable. His inspiration lives on through the SPF charity and all the volunteers that have embarked on various challenges over recent years.

I was thrilled and honoured to be asked to be part of the team to take on the RACE across Europe. Having played alongside Steve at Wakefield I was lucky enough to witness first hand what a great guy he was. He and Steve McNamara would often pick me up on the way to training to to save my dad the extra miles, maybe it's fitting that I'll be cycling so many miles over the course of the challenge.????

The work being done by the SPF is a true inspiration to us all and I'm very proud to have been asked to be part of this team in their latest challenge.

Nothing in particular, im sure there will be some tough times along the way but that's the beauty of being part of a team.
