It was a huge honour for The Steve Prescott Foundation to be one of James Roby's Charity partners for his testimonial year. Just to be associated with the mercurial St Helens legend would have sufficed but to receive a cheque of £6000 was incredible.

James Roby commented on his final testimonial event held at Berrington Hall on Saturday"When i was growing up Steve Prescott was one of my heroes on the rugby pitch. I was privileged enough to get to know him and admire his selfless work he did for others whilst battling his illness. Along with Group B Strep, my wife Natasha and I decided that it was the least we could do to support the two great charities and continue Steve's legacy!"

Association with the testimonial has been incredible boost to not only the charity but to Steve's family through hard times!
