A group of Steve Prescott Foundation supporters who have been actively campaigning for the Man of Steel award to be named after Steve Prescott MBE, held a get together at the Three Crowns Public House in Hull on January 25th.
Together they raised a phenomenal £2412.29.
Martin Blondel General Manager of The Steve Prescott Foundation said "The work the group has done already to secure Steve's name in the history of Rugby League has been incredible and really appreciated by everyone associated with the SPF! To go out and raised a substantial amount of money and have a great time in the process is what fundraising is all about. Having seen the pictures they certainly did have a great time. Thanks to everyone who turned out and supported, special thanks to Graham Middleton, Debs Fitzgerald & Alison Watson for their continued support!"
