Long time SPF supporter and Hull KR fan Jill Smithson organised a party of eight to walk the Beverley 20 in June this year. The Beverley 20 is a walk in the East Riding of Yorkshire that runs between Beverley Minster and the Humber Bridge and passes through the local villages of Skidby and North Ferriby and is part of the East Riding Heritage Trail.

Jill says “We successfully completed this year’s walking challenge for the SPF and have raised over £600 and still collecting the money in. It wasn’t as tough as the Lyke Wake walk last year but still a good challenge doing the Beverley 20.”

The SPF walkers included Mike Smithson, Erin Smithson, Ben Towse, Annie Slade, Mike Atkinson, Will Taylor, Nicky Dudle and Jill Smithson. Jill commented. “We've talked about next year already and think we may do a cycle instead from Craven park to another ground - just to mix it up a bit and do something different.”
