Andrew who hails from St Helens raised £160 for the SPF in the process.  Andrew who is 38, is married to Gill and has two young children Lewis (7) and James (5),

Andrew says  'It was in a gym session when Steve was playing first team at Saints and I was an academy 'wanna be' when Steve shared some advice with me..."if you think about something hard enough and you really want it, you can achieve it", sound familiar?

This advice has stuck with me throughout my life and has helped me out in some of my own difficult times and it also helps me in my current work with children who have been placed into Foster Care, instilling belief and raising aspirations for these children! It's a 'no brainer' that any physical challenge or event I participate in will be on behalf of the SPF. I hope to complete many other events in the next few years on behalf of the SPF so watch this space...'
