McDonalds, Sherdley Road, St Helens have very kindly nominated the SPF as its chosen charity as they raffle items including a framed signed Saints shirt and an SPF goody bag containing a limited edition One in a Million hoody, Steve Prescott’s Autobiography ‘ One in a Million’, and a SPF rugby ball.
Manager Sam Bottell said. “All proceeds are going to the SPF. We are raffling these to our customers and families of our staff members. It’s £1 for a strip. So far we have raised £425. We’re aiming to raise £1000 by September. We are putting our full focus into this now that we have raised our £1500 that we need for Alder Hey Ronald McDonald House.”
“In September, we have a team who are hiking up Snowdon to raise further money for the SPF and will get back to you with details of this.”
Martin Blondel of the SPF says, “It’s really fantastic to have the support of Sam and her team in our Million Pound Year. The McDonalds staff support the St Helens 10k run in March by giving water to participants as the ran up North Road. We are very appreciative of their continued support of the SPF.”
Next time you pop into McDonalds have a go at the raffle and you could be the lucky winner!!
The SPF wish the team the best of luck when they take on their challenge of climbing Snowden in September and thank them for their continued support.
