A group of friends from all over the country are getting on their bikes to raise £5,000 for the SPF.
The eight riders are cycling the L-P3 – that’s 300 miles from London to Paris in just three days. Their Paris dash begins at Wembley Stadium on Friday 23rd August, finishing on Sunday 26th at the Arc de Triomphe.
“London-Paris charity rides are two-a-penny” says organiser Andy Donnelly, “but only one of them is for the inspirational Steve Prescott Foundation – and that’s ours!
“We know Steve likes to do things the hard way so we’re aiming to complete the ride in three days, rather than the usual four or five.
“Please give us your support and help the Steve Prescott Foundation continue to make a real difference to peoples’ lives.”
Steve Prescott MBE said "We are delighted that these guys have got together and decided to raise funds for the SPF. It gives me great pleasure and satisfaction when i see people get together and support the SPF. It shows that people care about our cause. It is a great cycle from London to Paris, i am sure they will enjoy the experience, please support the guys as much as possible!"
