Join us for our first ever walk on Morecambe Bay from Arnside to Grange Walk
On the day of you must be at Arnside at least an hour before the start of the walk.

Arnside to Grange walk
There are toilets at Arnside before we start. SPF organisers will be there to greet you at the start and at the end of the walk to thank you as you finish the walk.
All walkers to bring
- Wear old / Comfortable trainers
- Wear comfortable clothing and dress accordingly
- Bring a hat
- Suncream
- Water (please take into account that on the sands there are no toilets)
- Lunch / snacks as we will stop for a break on the walk
- Small first aid kit for yourselves to deal with any minor injuries / blisters etc
Location
Arnside: Please meet down from the Albion pub. Michael (Guide over Sands) and his team shall be wearing bright yellow tshirts. Toilets are at the beginning and end of the walk.
All walkers are required to register for the walk prior to the start of the walk. Once the briefing has started no one can be added on or tag along behind.
Dogs are allowed on the walk at a fee of £5, however please keep your dog under control at all times, they are solely the owners responsibility. If a dog runs off you MUST leave it. No one can leave the walk to search for a dog, Dog payment is collected by you ( the charity / group ) on the day and handed into the Guide when you give the number of walkers.
Arnside walk - The walk will now finish at Grange Promenade in Grange, due to their being no toilets at Kents Bank.
The toilets are chargeable using a contactless method to the sum of 30p.
All walkers are responsible for getting to the walk start point and leaving after the walk.
Arnside Walk - There will be 2 tractors as an emergency back up to assist in the event of anyone being lame or unable to complete the walk. Please note our drivers are highly trained and are constantly watching walkers, if any walker needs help all they have to do is raise their hand.
All children on the walk MUST walk with an adult for their own safety.
