The 15th GPW Recruitment St Helens 10K Run took place at the BrewDog Stadium home of St.Helens RLFC, on Sunday, March 1st.
The event enjoyed excellent weather, drawing thousands of spectators who lined the streets to cheer on the participants. This year, 1,746 athletes successfully crossed the finish line, contributing to a vibrant festival atmosphere in the town center, North Road, Victoria Park, and the packed South Stand.
St Helens Striders Paul Howard celebrated his first victory at the race, finishing with a time of 33.09.

Martin Blondel, the Race Director, mentioned that feedback from the event has been overwhelmingly positive, with 97% of the organization rated as spot on. Entries for the 2027 race are already pouring in, with 500 athletes registered, and a call for more participants to sign up soon to secure their place before the next price increase from £23 to £28 once 600 places have been took.
