Ambassadors lift SPF with huge endurance feats

The Steve Prescott Foundation and its supported charities have received a huge boost thanks to the extraordinary endurance efforts achieved in the 2.6 charity campaign.

Rugby league legend Paul Sculthorpe alongside fellow ambassadors Pete Stephenson and Jimmy Gittins broke new boundaries of mental and physical resilience with an incredible series of fundraising challenges to hand the SPF a massive £14 thousand and counting for the charities it supports.

Just this week we heard about the heart-warming service offered by Eccleston Arms Bar & Grill, teaming up with  Blackbrook ARLFC & The Steve Prescott Foundation, to not only provide an essential service, delivering much needed food to those most in need but even bringing a smile to their faces in the process, with thanks to some special guests including Rugby League stars, ex Stillia front man Jack Bennett with his guitar and local comedian Johnny Vegas plus a little help from down under from Gladiator star Russell Crowe helping to spread the word.

Steve Prescott Foundation donate £40,000 to the Rugby Football League Benevolent Fund

Steve Prescott Foundation (SPF) Trustees will present a magnificent £40k cheque to the Rugby Football League (RFL) Benevolent Fund at the annual RFL Presidents Ball to be held at the Queens Hotel, Leeds on Saturday 11th January.

Taylor Prescott follows his father’s footsteps!

Ten years ago Steve Prescott MBE was given the honour of delivering the match ball to Wembley Stadium for the Challenge Cup Final between Huddersfield Giants and Warrington Wolves – after a typically gruelling challenge taking him and a group of like-minded heroes overland from Perpignan in the south of France, as part of his awe-inspiring efforts to raise money for the Steve Prescott Foundation (SPF).

Now in the summer of 2019, his 17-year-old son Taylor is ready to lead a repeat mission.
