Reason to “Kill the Hill”: After successfully completing the gruelling challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, in October 2017. I have decided to put myself through the pain again, including the altitude sickness that I endured, to raise vital funds and awareness for Steve Prescott Foundation. Steve's philosophy was "what the mind believes, the body achieves". This mantra got me through my Kilimanjaro challenge and I will take this through with me to Everest. Steve was an inspirational man, whom I admired greatly. I was lucky enough to call Stephen a friend.
What are you most looking forward to: Being a part of a team again, as the comradery is amazing; you make friends for life and share the most fantastic memories and experiences. I am also looking forward to the breath-taking views and of pushing myself both mentally and physically.
What are you least looking forward to: Well I suffered really badly on Kilimanjaro with altitude sickness, so I am not looking forward to that again or the long hard days. I will also miss my two boys Tarnay & Teina terribly!
