Neil Tucker from St Helens is a Hodgkins lymphoma cancer survivor who is going the extra mile to raise awareness and funds for the SPF. He has arranged a shave day where he will have a shave of his full face and waxing of his body at Langtree Park, St Helens on 8th June at 2 pm.

The Steve Prescott Foundation has changed the date of Its a Knockout to Sunday 12th June 2016.

The decision has been made following the announcement that the Ladbrokes 3rd round Challenge Cup fixture between St Helens and Hull FC at Langtree Park has been selected to be televised by the BBC on Sunday 8th May at 1630.

Due to this clash of dates several organisers and participants would be affected so a new date was agreed by all parties. All existing entries will be carried forward to the new date.

St Helens Council has been successful in their application to take part in the prestigious 6 a side O2Biz Touch Rugby Challenge 2016 at Twickenham on 12th May.

This year O2 Business UK will be raising funds for the NSPCC but they invite participating teams to nominate their own charity for their fund raising. A total of just 24 teams are chosen from nominations from across the country and undertake a commitment to raise a minimum of £3000. St Helens Council has very kindly nominated the Steve Prescott Foundation as their chosen charity.

In August 2015 Bradford Bulls supporters Ben Moorhouse (33) and Gaynor Thompson (35) walked the full east coast of Rhodes in 3 stages in intense temperatures of between 40 and 50C. Nearly everyone on the island said it was impossible to do the walk and with many doubters in the UK Ben and Gaynor wanted to prove a point whilst raising funds for The Steve Prescott Foundation. The couple used Steve Prescott’s belief  “What the mind believes,  the body achieves " throughout the challenge. They were officially the first people to walk the east coast in 3 days in the August heat and were rewarded by a civic reception at the town hall in Rhodes.  Ben and Gaynor raised an incredible £2417.52 for the Steve Prescott Foundation and spread the word of the SPF to a different country and culture.
