A BOXING event staged by Martin Murray & Lee Atherton proved a smash hit for the Steve Prescott Foundation.
The ‘Biff N Nark’ event, held at Langtree Park last November, which saw boxing enthusiasts slug it out in the ring, raked in £5,000 for the charity.
Fingerpost middleweight fighter Martin, pictured with daughter, Amelia, is an ambassador for the SPF.
Bouts of various weights and sizes took place with the main theme on entertaining the 300 strong crowd!
Martin Blondel manager of The Steve Prescott Foundation said "Lee & Martin put on quite a show, it was a fantastic event which raised a lot of money for the SPF. All the fighters showed great courage and were dignified out of the ring. Inside the ring they were like caged animals and put their hearts and soul in to the bouts. We cannot thank them all enough for their courage and support!"
