Spectrum Everest Base Camp Challenge 2016 Gatsby Dinner in aid of the Steve Prescott Foundation

Neil Farrow Managing Director of Spectrum leads by example and not only completed the impressively successful Kilimanjaro Challenge 2015 which raised over £150,000 for the Steve Prescott Foundation(SPF) but has already signed up for the Everest Challenge for 2016 alongside fellow director David de Livio. The latest epic challenge inspired by the late Steve Prescott MBE former St Helens and Hull FC Great Britain rugby league international is sponsored by the Manchester based Spectrum Group, a leading supplier of support services in the Construction and Rail Sectors.

Neil says, ‘2016 is a milestone year for the SPF as it will pass the million pound of donations to their nominated charities Try Assist, the Christie and the SPF Special Causes Fund. The Spectrum Group is delighted to support the Everest Base Camp Challenge inspired by Precky and be part of the ‘ SPF Million Pound Year.’

A party of climbers will set off on their fifteen day adventure on 13th October alongside Linzi and Taylor Prescott, the wife and elder son of Steve are also taking part in the challenge. St Helens actor Michael Parr aka bad boy Ross Barton in ITV’s Emmerdale and legends of rugby league are also signed up to the party of 40.

To support and promote the Everest Base Camp Challenge the Spectrum Group are hosting a Gatsby Dinner at the Worsley Park Marriott Hotel on Saturday 12th March 2016. The night of glitz and glamour will have a Great Gatsby 1920’s theme. This is THE event to be seen at this season.
